I love to crochet. Unfortunately it is quite hard on my wrists, but I decided that it was worth the pain for these next two projects.
My daughter in law just love the Moomi series. So, with the
new baby coming I decided to make a few of the little Moomi creatures
for the baby.
I made this Little Myy and Moomi for our
coming grand daughter. I fell in love with the little Myy. She so
reminds me of myself.
I didn't have a pattern for the Pikku Myy but I have crocheted for many years, so I just looked online for a good picture of her, and started crocheting. I was sooooo... impressed on how she turned out.
I love the Pikku Myy, she is with so much attitude.
Unfortunately
her legs, were so skinny and weak she could only sit, so I decided to
insert wire into her legs so she could stand. It worked out great.
I
found the crocheting instructions for Moomi online. It was easy for me,
but if you have never crocheted it was complicated. Luckily I know how
to crochet, so I could figure out the pattern.
It was amazing how much stuffing I had to insert into him, to make him full and stiff.
Here is a picture of the Moomi figures. As I wrote earlier, I really enjoyed making these little guys. I might even venture to make a " pikku Myy" for myself.
